Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Who we are

SoundsSphere is a music streaming and rights-management service at soundssphere.com. It lets listeners discover licensed releases and lets artists, creators, publishers, and labels manage music and rights information.

2. Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, account role, authentication provider, and encrypted password credentials. For professional accounts, we may also collect company details, country, website, IPI/CAE information, catalog metadata, rights territories, licensing information, and uploaded evidence.

We may record playlists, likes, listening duration, qualified playback events, device and browser information, IP address, security logs, and basic diagnostics.

3. Social sign-in

If you use Google, Facebook, or Microsoft sign-in, SoundsSphere receives the information you authorize that provider to share, normally your name, email address, and provider-specific identifier. SoundsSphere does not receive your provider password. Each provider processes information under its own privacy policy.

4. Music and rights uploads

Professional users may upload audio masters, cover art, release metadata, agreements, licenses, and rights evidence. We use them to store, review, administer, and—only when authorized—stream the submitted catalog. Do not upload content or personal information you are not entitled to provide.

5. How we use information

  • Provide accounts, authentication, streaming, playlists, and catalog tools.
  • Review rights, territories, ownership claims, and release availability.
  • Calculate listening statistics and prepare professional reports.
  • Prevent abuse, fraud, unauthorized access, and infringement.
  • Comply with law and respond to valid requests.

6. Legal bases

Depending on your location, we process information to perform our contract, operate the service with legitimate interests, comply with law, protect users and rights holders, and obtain consent where required.

7. Sharing

We may share limited information with infrastructure, authentication, storage, security, and analytics providers; with professional rights partners when needed to review a release; or with authorities when legally required. We do not sell personal information.

8. Retention and security

We retain information as needed to provide SoundsSphere, maintain rights and accounting records, resolve disputes, and comply with law. We use encrypted connections, access controls, and restricted secrets. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. Account and Facebook-related deletion instructions are on the Data Deletion page.

10. Children

SoundsSphere is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect data from children below the applicable age.

11. International processing and updates

Providers may process information in other countries, subject to safeguards where required. We may update this policy and will publish the revised date here.

12. Contact

Privacy and data-rights requests may be sent to privacy@soundssphere.com.
